Old "house car"



Probably one of the very first of the forerunners of modern day motorhomes, this old "house car" image comes to us from ellenm1 on flickr.com. It appears our photographer grabbed a photo of an existing image at the Henry Ford Museum. Must have been quite interesting to be in the "driver's seat" on this one.

My suspicion is that someone played games with some photos. That looks like a new park model complete with a sewer vent, awning window and multi-pane windows. I'm not buying it.

Might be more believable if the guy in front of the house had legs...

Check out this link and scroll down a bit. Prepare to eat you words. It's from 1920 AND in the Ford Museum. They also have a few that look similar.
