OK, we admit it. Is this a photoshopped pic, or was there really an Airstream motorhome especially designed for funeral use? We know that a few motorhomes were designed for the funeral home industry, allowing the family a comfortable coach ride to the graveyard, sans hearse. But maybe this one is stretching it a bit.

Yes, it's the real thing. Airstream produced funeral coaches, executive transporters, mobile police units, and other variants based on their Classic Motorhome, in the 1980s. We did an article on it in the Winter 2004 issue of Airstream Life magazine (now out of print).
