Many dream of finding an aging (but timeless) Airstream trailer and bringing it back to life. For many RVers, it means bringing the sleek, aluminum sided rig back on the road--hopefully towed by a suitably vintage auto or pickup.Enter Andreas Stavropoulos, a landscape architect. Searching for the ideal mobile studio, Starvopoulos located a vintage 1959 Airstream on a California horse ranch. He converted his dream machine into his rolling office and quarters by fitting the inside with lime green cork wall panels and modern cabinetry.
Lime green? Not exactly what the Bambi builders had in mind back in the late 50s. But for some, the color kind of grows on you. Yeah, if you live in an orchard.
